All piercings hurt. The area will be sore for the following week, but overall the piercing procedure is done and over with quickly. The most annoying part is having a sore nose for a few days, but Motrin or Midol really help with that.

As with most people, your eyes will water and you'll feel a stinging feeling for a second and thats it. It won't be painless but it will be tolerable, just take deep breaths and relax.

Keep it clean and as long as you take care of your piercing you won't have to worry about the pain and problems of infections. Good luck.

No, the nose piercing doesn't hurt that much when it is done by a gun-shot method...all you just feel is a slight pinch like sensation. Though it may bother you for a while until it dries up so clean it daily thoroughly. And try to remove the guage head that is used by the gun shot method after a day and wear Ur regular gold nose pin as this is the safest metal for a while in the beginning now. Get a TT injection to avoid any infection spread. Never leave the hole without any piercing in the first few months as the skin tends to close in again.. So Don't worry about it, you will enjoy the experience and it will look beautiful.. And the closing part is tricky as it does leave a mark on the nose a small one though but not small enuf to miss either..........Gud luck

it has the potential to close easily because the jewelry can get stuck inside the hole or come out . It didnt hurt my first time. After the 6th or 7th it hurt bcus so much cartilidge had built up But then again some people can't tolerate pain. my advice as much as you want the cute little stud. Get it periced with a ring first it heals better like that and it's safer when they dont use a gun. goodluck

I got my nose pierced the day I turned 18, and believe it or not, it feels just the same as getting your ear pierced. Its a little bit more pressure since they use a bit of a bigger gauge needle, and they do not use a piercing gun...it closes up fairly quick though so be careful..and make sure you clean it regularly.

The only time it can be annoying is if you have sinuses and allergys. Then it will irritate the skin around it, especially if you are blowing your nose alot or have a cold.
