Fox News is equivalent to AOL.
Both are bright and shiny and simple and they're both for people who simply don't know any better.

Fox News has been found to be biased and untrue. Regardless of which political party you support, why would anyone want to listen to news which may or may not be accurate? Perhaps it is the same people who are buying the tabloids.

If you had said that about CNN, Criminal news network, I would have agreed with you. However Fox has both sides of an issue and does for the most part try to show a fair side when it comes to reporting. As to your false claim that they are racist and lie when reporting the news I just know you mean the station that I mentioned before.

Even if I accepted your statement (which I don't), I would want to watch a channel to see what the "other side" had to say...what makes them say what they do...are there any kernels of truth in what they say...how does it compare to other media sources I listen to/watch. If YOU only watch one media source, you are only getting one perspective, so how do you know it is correct...or are you perhaps afraid that you might be brought around to question your beliefs if it is held up to challenge?
ALL media has an agenda, whether they want to admit or not.

Because, like Rupert Murdoch's tabloid newspapers, it appeals to those incapable of thinking for themselves, and who need to be told what to think.
In a way you have to admire it, as if you read the writings of Joseph Goebbels (Propaganda Minister for Hitler) it is his dream come true.
It's also so bad as to be funny in a frightening kind of way!

Some people prefer to have their views reinforced by others, rather than challenged. It's more soothing and requires less thinking.
