I'm 15 weeks pregnant and showing a little bit but I think it is to early for the baby to be causing it. Any ideas on how to help with the pain? thanks for the info♥

all of my upper back pain is due to my posture being so horrid. my breasts have swelled up 1.5 cup sizes and im only in my 4th month. when i try to sit up, the pain worsens.

Try to sit up straight and keep your spine aligned. Thats the best advice I can give you.

Good Luck!

I agree with most people, that it's likely the extra weight in your chest and belly is putting a little strain on your back. I have terrible posture too, and I get aches from my neck all the way down to my lower back. Also, you may be carrying some extra tension in your neck and shoulders, perhaps worrying about your pregnancy or the baby, which is natural. I suggest asking your partner for a back rub or treating yourself to a pre-natal massage at a spa. (I would try to avoid pills, unless the pain is unbearable and driving you crazy, in which case ask your doctor what's safe for you and the baby)

If your shoulder blades are wicked sore, it maybe because your boobs are growing. I'm 22 weeks along w/ my 3rd baby and the only back pain I ever get is upper middle pain from all the extra breast tissue. (Our boobs gain 1-3 pounds during pregnancy). Wearing a sports bra helps a bit, also heating up a rice bag in the microwave and placing it on your back where it hurts provides some relief. (regular rice in a pillowcase knotted shut is what I use, or you can splurge and buy one at any store, some even come scented for extra relaxation) And make sure you tell your doc at your next visit!! Congrats on the pregnancy!

Well the baby at this point is putting a lot of stress on your body (more than you know) and as your uterus grows, it slightly bends your spine, causing back pain. But if you're on your feet alot or lifting constantly than it could be anything. Even cleaning at this stage could take a toll on your back. Just take it easy and do as little as possible. Take tylenol if it's to bothersome.

It depends. Do you have a large bust? sometimes the weight of the baby pulling on you and a large top can cause your body to over work. Try taking any non-asprin meds. That way you wont take a chance in hurting your baby. If the problem and pain is persistent, you should really refer to your doctor.
