Get in touch with Toys for Tots. They helped my son's family last year when his wife was in a terrible wreck at Christmas time and neither could work.

You could contact Toys for Tots. Also, Goodwill Industries offers help for struggling families, and I know that Salvation Army does as well. I bet if you contacted any or all of those agencies, they would help. Also, don't underestimate independant businesses in your area. They are likely affiliated with a church, food cupboard or other organization.
This could be a time to remind your kids that it's the thought that counts, and teach them time is the best gift. You could talk about why the holiday is a bit lean this year, and make gifts for each other.
I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling. I hope things work out for you and your family.

There are usually several charities that this time of year who do "Sub for Santa" programs of various kinds. Check with your church also (if you go to one) or with your city/county government.
