A small relatively inexpensive gift would be good -- probably an audio cd from the "best buy" section, or something useful like a nice mug with nice wordings on it.

Yes I would. Make it under $50 though and increase by 50 dollar increments every year after that.
On my first Christmas with my fiance I got him a pair of diamond earrings. They were 70% off at the sale, so i ended up spending around 60 bucks, but they were worth it. Other smaller gifts were video games, a massage, watch...etc.

That is completely up to you. If you can see yourselves together down the road, I would. However, if you are not sure then maybe reconsider. For someone that you really don't know all that well a gift certificate works best.

I would get him a gift but something simple. For instance a new CD album or DVD he's been wanting. It all depends on his interests..

I think I would get them something, but not go all out. After all, I would be a little weirded out if a boyfriend for only a month got me something expensive or mushy. Get something funny.

I would keep it simple, a book, cd, movie tickets. Nothing big since you don't really know eachothter all that well.
