take your boot off and remove your sock. do this on your own mind. put your hand in the sock, which will no doubt be soggy. rub your helmet in a circular motion, not straight up and down, and not too fast or you'll be flicking moisture all over the place. just keep polishing and polishing. the shiny will soon allow itself to be seen. once finished replace your sock, and your boot. good luck sir.
