From my experience, it is not possible to remove fiberglass from clothing. The stuff embeds into clothing (and skin) faster and easier than anything you've ever seen, as I'm sure you're now aware. What you may not be aware of is some of the fibers on your clothing will come off and be floating in the air, which creates a hazardous breathing environment. You must discard anything that you used to handle the fiberglass, because it's now contaminated. (internet source listed below can verify this)

Good luck :-)

Here's what some of the fiberglass manufacturers suggest regarding washing clothes after exposure to their product;

1) Take clothing outdoors and "snap" shake it out.
2) Wash clothing in cold water using regular laundry detergent.
3) Wipe out the laundry tub following the wash cycle.
4) Dry according to the garment care label.
5) If you dry clothes in a dryer, wipe out the dryer immediately afterwards.
6) Repeat wash and dry cycles.
