i'm looking to wear a dress to wear tomorrow night for a christmas party and it comes just below the knee but when i sit down you can see the bruise (this will happen when i'm moving too-or dancing!)
anyone got any thing i can cover bruise with- will sheer tights work ?-although i want to wear peep toe shoes .

use a concealer... but until tomorrow, put alcohol on it, it draws away the bruise... just dab it with alcohol every couple of hours...

Try taking aspirin and put a heating pad on the bruise. This might lessen it before you try to conceal it. Also consider NOT concealing it at all. Guys will ask you about it and you'll get a lot of attention. Especially consider this if you find that you can't conceal it totally. Cindy Crawford has her mole and maybe the bruise will have the same effect for you. Good luck.

You can go to a make up counter and buy a cover-up stick. Use that under your regular foundation powder, which should make it stay put. And yes, you can wear hose/tights with the peep toe shoes because some brands make them footless. Try Spanx.

Perhaps apply some cover stick/foundation to the bruise and wear dark or opaque tights if possible. They look ok with open shoes this time of year.

When my friend had a bruise on her knee she covered it up with make-up and wore flesh coloured tights before going to a party

Foundation, concealer and powder should work wonders. However make sure you use waterproof make-up, otherwise the bruise will reappear as the night goes on!

Just put concealer on it and then dab it with a bit of face powder to seal the concealer.
