I don't know about the feminists but to me pornography is stimulating. Wish I could make my own show someday.
Romance novels don't come close to a playboy magazine. It's just the way that girls are brought up into thinking that things sexual are bad or immoral when in reality its a natural thing. We need more open-minded women.

I am usually indifferent over the issue of porn. If a couple watches porn in an open way together then that's one thing. But I feel that porn turns women, gays and lesbians, men and bisexuals into objects by turning on stereotypes and eroticizing sexual lifestyles. in my opinion, not just women are objectified by porn, others are as well.
Porn and feminism can never reconcile.
(that does NOT mean I want it banned)

Millie Bowie. I knew you was a feminist when I started to read your answer.
I hate that stupid pat answer of the feminists.
The feminists always claim what it does to women. Turns them in to objects. What a load of fermented Crap!!
The people in porn choose to do what they do in porn and is
not only degrading to women but is degrading to everybody, period.
And Pray tell Natalie, what could possibly, all the right reasons be?
I know adults do things that children, we say, are not old enough to participate in. A lot of which are tied to morality.
Smoking, drinking, cussing, sex outside of marriage, going places that are not appropriate for children and etc..
I am not trying to be preachy here but, think about it.
Jesus said, to come unto the Him as little children.
A lot of the things that are considered wrong for children, are morally wrong, are just as morally wrong for adults.
Who is more degrading than the people who make and produce Porn??
It would have to be those who watch.

Oooh. I like to think of myself as a feminist but I also think that if women are in pornography for all the right reasons then all power too them (I've always wanted to be in one of those films).
So I guess they are because I know feminists who are soooo anti-it.

Natalie, what are the "right reasons" to be involved in pornography.
I , for one, feel it's degrading to women. I happen to be the mother of two little girls, and couldn't bear the thought of them feeling that appearing in pornography is just another "career choice"
