The United States government is THE government of the world. We are the "best." So, in our chauvinistic endeavors, we MUST hide anything that doesn't make us look the best. The government covers up everything that doesn't shed a positive light on it and embellishes that that does. You don't even want to know all of the cover-ups the government is involved in. You only hear about the ones they botch. They botched Pat Tillman's murder. They botched the Contra scandal. They botched Watergate. And on and on. Truth is not in the government's dictionary and we, as its own citizens, pay for it.

Cover up?? On May 28, 2004, a month after his death, his family was informed that he died as a result of a friendly fire incident . If you take the time you will see that the military investigates these incidents and believe it or not , the investigations take a little time... Not everything is a conspiracy or cover up...
