First get rid of McAffee and get a real antivirus program. I watch "Callforhelptv" and they said McAffee places 4th on the list of antivirus (meaning, it allows hackers, spyware and adware to get into your system without McAffee knowing it). And the homepage should be no more than something simple like google (yahoo is known for hackers as well). Last but not least, there is tons of info on a google search for those of us with computer questions. I'd trust all the computer geeks (not saying that out of cruelty either) out there before anyone on yahoo answers.

.Personally i am know genius when it comes to PCs, but i know that if you upgrade anti virus software, install a good firewall can really make a difference, as well as sorry to say...think hard about getting a new PC.But seriously try using an anti virus utility to check the hard disk for viruses.. If the utility does find a virus, usually it can remove the bugger with no problems. Try this website link http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Utilities/ i hope this will help you out of your virus dilemma.
