I've asked a few Bass guitar questions-they get removed for "chat" because there is no category for that. Is it just me, or should us musicians have the right to ask questions about our stuff , too?

Hel Yeah! It sucks not having a good category for musicians. Maybe you (or I) should email the Yahoo Answers people to get our own category. Now that I mention it, see ya later, I have an email to write!

Good question. And yes, we should. But what is "chat"? Why would they remove a question about a bass guitar?
If there was a musician/musical instrument catergory i think it would be popular.

I don't think any of us have the "right" to do anything here, but I also would like to see a section for musicians and band members to talk things over and answer questions etc. I play guitar as my first instrument and bass and mando as well. I sympathize with your problem and will probably get reported for chat!

Yes, I think we should have a musicians category here. It would be nice to just filter out the deranged entertainment questions from the actual music questions

i dont understand why your questions would be removed unless they werent questions. if your looking to chat - try a a yahoo group or something. if it was legit question - raise heck with yahoo. they're a bunch of yahoos

dunno, yet I wanna do this. Theres no human beings area for listening or taking part in. like to speak song yet there is a brilliant number of random none specific stuff interior the song area. i'm going to be observing to verify what solutions you get, good success.
