She is a girl's girl and likes pink and dresses and the like. But I'm not up to date with what today's 3 year old girls are interested in. Can anyone help a desperate Uncle?

dress up stuff. Check out your local dollar store for boas, plastic high heels, hats and fancy crowns and stuff. Make a bag or box of this stuff and you will be her prince!!! Or some catalogs like J C Penny's have trunks with dress up stuff. Or you could ask her mom what she wants her to have. Some moms don't like the mess that comes with dress up stuff. Just remember no small parts!!

Kids at that age are hard to buy for, I've got 4 nieces and a nephew. The good news is, at that age, it doesn't really matter what you get them for Christmas, as it isn't that big of a deal yet, not until they are 4 or 5. So don't worry about getting something really special, they can't appreciate it yet. Any doll or toy will do, they are also not old enough to know a lot of trends and fads.

I wouldn't go with a barbie because she is still really little I would ask her mom what she wants for Christmas usually moms know or you could give her this thing that like everyone i babysit for has it is a little piano pad thing that lies on the floor and when you walk on it it plays notes or you could get like a fuzzy book or movie if you go with the movie I would get any show that came on the little kids channel you could also get her a makeup thing I know you are thing right now that i am crazy but she will have fun smearing it all over her face I know kids I hav been a babysitter since I was 9 1/2 you could also get a doctors kit she would probably love that or a fake grocery store kit like with cash register and all that. I hope I was helpful

My son is 3 and here is what I really wish people would buy him: swimming lessons music lessons movie passes gymnastic lessons craft supplies You may need to talk to their parents (before signing up for a class) or just get a gift certificate but I think this is a great idea!

You can never go wrong with a nice big stuffed animal...Little girls love stuffed animals, actrually I know girls who still love stuffed animals lol....A stuffed animal is more likely to be an object that will be kept for a few years depending...I know its different because Im a guy but back in the day I was very attached to my tedd bear until I think I was 7...so my vote is a stuffed animal.

Mmm' You could try getting her a doll of some sort. That she may take care of and dress in whatever clothes she likes ext. Or of coarse you could try secretly talking to her parents and asking them what sort of things she is intrested in. Perhaps a large stuffed animal, If she likes animals. Try and fidgure out her intrests and such. So she can get something dhe would really love!

A Hello Kitty stuffed animal, they´re safe for 3-year-olds and you can usually find them at Target. They have Hello Kitty clothes too.

*I wouldn´t recommend a Barbie doll for a 3-year-old because the shoes and other accessories they have are so small that she could put them in her mouth and choke on them. I also think it says right on the box that Barbie dolls are not recommended for toddlers.
