Christmas will always be the most commercialized holiday ever because the public is in a buying frenzy at that time. This is actually good for the economy but we have to suffer through all the bs commercials on television.

I wouldn´t be surprised. It used to be considered "inappropriate" to put Christmas decorations up and advertise for Christmas before Thanksgiving back in the 40s, that´s why President Roosevelt changed the date of Thanksgiving to the 4th Thursday in November instead of the last Thursday so the holidays wouldn´t fall so close together.

Who's birthday is it anyway....Jesus or Santa???
However, if you don't get out and spend all your money and all your credit this Holiday Season, you're not showing your "consumer confidence" and the economy will suffer the following year...

When you see baby Jesus costumes and King Herod devil costumes, I'd start worrying.
