Awesome Cars mate, just buy it, strong sturdy, fast, gr8 built. Cant compare the performance of jap cars with Skodas, once u own one u wil always buy it again.

Definitely GOOD.
I am on my sixth Octavia, including 1 RS and 1 4 x 4.
Had the RS stolen by persons breaking into the house while we were asleep to steal the keys. Jasper Carrott eat your heart out.
Understand the new VRS Diesel is well worth a look re: decent fiuel economy.

well worth a look at, depends on what you are used to driving though.providing they haven't been used for a taxi and you regularly service the car they will run for ever. from another point of view they are a belting car to do engine mods on to increase performance, they are a lot of car for the money..... if you tire of cars easily stay clear of the fabia vrs because I've had one and it bored the pants of me

Since Skoda was bought out by VW the build quality has been increased ten fold. They cannot be compared with the old stigmatized Czech Skoda's. It has won car of the year.

Excellent value & performance, along with VW quality. Local cops use 'em as unmarked traffic cars and swear by them.

Unbelievablly good performance, extras and comfort at a surprisingly low price. My daughter and son-in-law (ex racing driver) have one, admittedly its been chipped, but they really rate it.

I have it buddy, I dirve it to my college daily, it is excellent, the ride is smooth, the performance is very sportive and the built is awesome.
