The only way you can do that is to upgrade your broadband service. Are you sure you're only getting 50kbps? As that's quite slow, something you could achieve on dial-up. Also, I'm not a pro on this stuff, but I've never heard of 10mbps speed. That would be insanely fast, something that a normal person would have no need for. I survive nicely with 180kbps, and 540kbps is considered very nice for an average home user. For comparison, 10mbps would be roughly 20 times faster than that, and thus, insanely fast.

You can reach a speed of 10 Mbps, it IS insanely fast, but you can acheive this through a Ethernet PCI card of 10/1000, and a cable connection. It is awfully fast for a simple home user though, and would be a bit expensive as you would also need to increase the bandwidth your ISP provides via your contract. Usually ISPs offer three different grades of service, the first and middle ones are usually the ones home users buy. The third one is much more expensive. This is determined by your ISP, so call and ask them about pricing and what, if any, additional hardware you would require.

Good luck and have a great day!
