A friend asked me this question and I said I would ask on Answers. She asked because people here carry things on their heads. Was such a thing also found in Nature? Or is it only humans?

Insects have mandibles on their heads and use those to carry things. Ants are one.

Monkeys carry parasites on their heads...but I suppose that's not what you are looking for.

My dog carries a dog treat on her head.

elephants, rhinos, buffalos, etc carry small birds on their heads, usually called Oxpeckers.

Only humans manipulative thumb/ apes have manipulative hand but not the thumb.
