The other reindeer (and Santa, too, for that matter) never really changed their opinion of Rudolph, they just saw an opportunity to use him for their own gain. You can bet the next time there was clear weather on Christmas Eve Rudolph was back mucking out stables.

It is a little know fact that Rudolph secretly had that wicked Bumble monster send e-mail threats to the rest of the group. Every leader needs an enforcer on the team.

they never say what rudolph does when its not foggy out. i think santa just used him and had the other reindeer kiss his *** for a night so he would help.
These days rudolph sits on his porch, bottle of cheap wine in hand shouting at everyone that passes by " i used to be somebody.......i used to be somebo(the rest drowned by sobs)!"

I think Rudolph is the leader because of his red nose. Helps lead the way you know.

at one time there were more reindeer so Santa just reminded them that they had a choice- help or be dinner
