You know you're awake, you try to move one inch of your body but it stubbornly refuses to respond to your brain?

Yes!!! That has happened to me only a few times & it was scary & frustrating! I don't know why it happens, but everyone else says it's sleep paralysis

It's called sleep paralysis, so I've been told. I get it a lot. Especially if I've slept really soundly.

dont listen to those other people it happens once in the blue to me I just go back to sleep and try to wake up again

Yes I have had that happen.I'm not sure what causes that to happen.Maybe your body is moving but its moving so slow that you don't think its moving at all .
