He's good, but he's far from being the man. He's still "new" to the league. I'm sure defenses will begin to break him down sooner or later. He wasn't a second string quarterback for nothing. Sure, guys like Tom Brady and Jake Delhomme sneak in under the radar, but I won't call Romo "the man" until he's taken the Cowboys to the NFC championship game.

1) He's been the highest rated QB since he took over in Dallas.
2) Dallas had no chance of making the playoffs w/ Bledsoe.
3) He's mobile and gets rid of the ball quickly.
He has a chance to have the kind of beginning to his career (even though he's been in the league a few years) like Ben R. for the Steelers.
4) His girlfriend's a looker, but has no brain so this could be positive or negative.

If that Jessica Simpson thing works out, and he tosses at least 3 TDs for the rest of the season (or at least during the fantasy playoffs) and gets his teeth done by Jerry Jones' orthodonist, then yes, he will be the man.

It's early yet, but he is doing well.
I reffed one of his games when they played at Wilmot quite a few years back in HS. Never thought he'd go anywhere. Good for him and that ditzy Simpson girl...
