I just read that Mel Gibson's new movie Apocalypto is his best directed movie thus far. Critics have said even better than Braveheart. I myself can't wait to see it. I personally think he's the best filmmaker of all time, but that's just my opinion. How about you? Will you go see it?

Well a lot of them already said Patriot and Braveheart, which is also my favorites. I will also include the movie Ransom. Great performance by Mel Gibson, though the story itself is somehow unrealistic.

Okay, I am in full agreeance with you and I wish more people would be open minded and see that this is true. That man is a genius, an amazingly intelligent film maker. He's awesome. And do you know what's sad? He deserves a best director's award or best movie award at least, but because of his controversal statements he probably won't get any.

Mr. Gibson's racist personality aside, i will definitely go see it. How often do we see a movie about these type of people (the indians, not mel)?

I think "best filmmaker of all time" is a bit extreme, but I'd like to see the movie, yes.

That's funny - all the critics that I've heard are ripping it apart. But I can separate the man from the message, so I'll go see it because I thought the preview looked really compelling.

I love the movies that he directs as well. I went to the theaters to see Passion of the Christ so i hope to be able to go to his new movie as well.
