its very gory its about some us troops trying to help put down a rebelion in africa somewhere, it was good.

It's actually called Black Hawk Down.... It is a story of a helicopter full of Marines that is shot down in Somalia and their fight to fend off hundreds of attackers once they are shot down. it is a great movie, and I believe it was based on a true story.

its a very good movie.
Its set in events (its a true story) during the Somalia conflict of 1993.
A raid against a high level member of a group fighting for control of the coutnry goes bad.. and 100+ soldiers are suddendly stranded in the middle of hell. They have to survive some 18 hrs of pure hell.

About the incident in Somalia, it is a good illustration when you get involve in a conflict or war you have to agree to go all out or don't go at all. when you do it piece meal this is what happens good movie and lesson.

It's a military based movie, but very intense and very good. One of my fiance's fav's.
