I found a Prada bag for 6 dollars. Yes, I know it wasnt a REAL Prada bag, but it looked good, for a fake, and even if it was, I liked the way it looked and it went with my outfit. I also have found nice shoes there and clothes as well; sometimes the clothes still have tags on. I buy there because wherever I can save a little money, it adds up later. I buy what I can second hand, and then later I have more to spend on something really nice that I would not ordinarily purchase.

I love thrift stores. You can find some really good stuff there, you just have to look. Actually the best thing I ever found there was a Homecoming dress. My friend asked me to his Homecoming a week before it and I was broke and didn't have a dress. I found a like new dress at a thrift store for $1. It was awesome and everyone asked where I got my dress. I wasn't ashamed to tell them. Who cares if they don't like it. Who's wearing it?

I didn't before but when I got pregnant I discovered a thrift store called togs for tots and you can buy, sell, and trade clothing and stuff and I found Nike, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, and Baby Dior clothing for like 3 bucks per outfit.
And I found some cute clothes for me too, and not just maternity.
Thrift stores aren't gross as long as you go to the right ones... you can find some really good stuff, my boyfriend gets all of his work clothes there too... it just doesn't make sense to pay 25 bucks for a pair of pants that are going to get stained and ruined the first time that they're worn.

I enjoy shopping at the thrift store, I found a long multi colored (browns, oranges, creams) rabbit fur coat for $40. I wore it to a 70s party and all eyes stayed on me. People were complimenting me on that coat all night and saying is should be worn as a regular coat and I shouldn't let the 70s party be the last time I wore that coat, it is very classy looking. By the way I looked like a 2006 Foxy Brown.

I always told myself I would never be caught shopping in a thrift store but then my roommate told me about a dresser she found there, I just happened to be in need of a bigger dresser. Well I went and looked at it and it was indeed alot bigger but it was puke green eeewww and $70. But then my BF said he could re-finish it any color I wanted and so I told the guy working there I only had $40 and really wanted to buy it, so he sold it to me for $40. We re-finished it and it looks very expensive and brand new. I of course would never buy clothes from there, gross.

Heck yeah!!! Man I have been surprised at the things I have found there. And plus its just fun going through all the stuff they have. My mother found a Prada purse and a Coach leather tote, and they were legit, not knock offs .. But anywhoo... the best thing I bought and loved was my makeup bag, it was this red bag the two stripes and it was only 35cents. Wooohooo!!!

I love them too!
My best deal was at the Salvation Army. I bought a black cocktail dress for $8. It was being sold at Macy's the year before for $200.
BTW at the places I go shopping at I see dealers who seek out designer brands to sell online or at a "Vintage" shop for a fortune.

I got an amazing homecoming dress at a thrift store. It cost $2.99, it didn't have the ticket on it. No one new and I got so many complements on it.
