Why not, Green Bay has one?
After all Las Vegas is known worldwide and it is one of the fastest growing cities in the US. It went from a very expensive sandbox to a modern US city. Plus a superbowl in Vegas would kick ****.

well the population is big enough to support a pro team. The only problem with all franchises considering vegas as a home if the gambling aspect of the city. If a pro team were to come to vegas no one would be able to bet on them...

It would be very interesting. The population of Vegas is so nebulous. I wonder if the city could rally around a pro team and have good attendance.

Also there is a lot of competition, what happens when the team has an off season? I mean alot of fans might say I'll come back when they are winning and go off rolling somewhere.

I understand the reservations for pro sports not to. (e.g. the gambling issue), but it doesn't matter where you play anymore, the game is going to be bet on and being in Vegas won't increase business for sports books. I think they should put a pro team there. And I agree with the last guy, a Vegas Superbowl would outstanding!!
