I am planning a road trip across the states from the east coast to the west coast (may start in NY or NC dont know yet and finish in LA) and i need some tips on which states i should drive through and places i should go.

when stoping for gas, food or whateever always make sure you can see the place form the high way especially at night. one it is safer and 2 you have less chaces of getting lost on some crazy back roads!

better tip for a certain destination than just going where ever the road takes you like in your case

make sure to make a pit stop in indianapolis, we are the biggest land-locked city in the united states. also the 13th largest city in u.s.a. as of 1997
we're like a smaller less interesting n.y.c.
but if you visit carmel, in our rich suburb, check out BD's mongolian barbeque. best food i've had in years, but if you get stuck on pendleton pike in front of a kmart, try kings ribs. our circle city mall is a land mark in its-self.
