1. They shouldn't feel heavy but it will be a bit weird at first.
2. You may have the temptation, but DO NOT PLAY WITH THEM. You should only be touching your earrings to clean them, anything else with spread germs and bacteria to the area. If you do touch them during the day, clean them as soon as you can.
3. Be careful, but mainly watch out for your comb or brush to catch the area. If hair gets wrapped around it, calmly remove it and continue on your way. Be sure you wash the soap and shampoo off the jewelry well and you should be fine.
Generally clean and use some tender loving care with your piercings for the first 6-8 weeks. After then, its safe to cut cleaning to daily for the next month or so. Be sure that you wear jewelry at all times for the first 6-12 months so the holes don't close or shrink up on you. If you change the jewelry, use high quality jewelry, nothing coated or containing nickel. Clean all jewelry before and after wearing it.

When you first get your ear pieced it could feel uncomfortable or even hurt. It is a foreign object to your body, so there is a chance of infection. Even when there is no infection you'll feel something's different with your ear and you'll want to touch it. It is actually good to twist it a few times during the day and clean it with a little alcohol at least once a day. The twisting actually helps it heal faster because it doesn't get crusted at the piercing site. Just remember to keep your hands clean. You don't want an infection! When you shower you might want to pay attention not to get long hair snagged on the stud. The pain comes when you are drying your face and hair and aren't careful enough because you forgot you have new piercings. But if you had it done at a clean place I wouldn't worry to much. Just enjoy!!

1. They don't feel heavy. You only notice it if your hair twines around the back of the stud. or you press the phone to your ear too hard.
2. Yes/No. Don't pull on them! but you can twist it around and around.
3. If you get soap or shampoo in them, make sure you rinse them very well. The shop where you get them done will give you a rinse solution to use. Don't use peroxide or alcohol. Keep your fingers away from the hole during the day. You don't want to get an infection..

I've had pierced ears for nearly 35 years. The studs I had were small & I don't remember them feeling heavy--I did notice them because my ears were sore. I did play with them--still do. I was told to turn the studs @ least daily to keep them from getting stuck from raw skin adhering to them. I was extra careful when showering because of the soreness--i'm still careful, don't want to lose my earrings down the drain. Is this helpful?

1. It doesn't feel heavy, but you are aware of it.
2. Yes, you want to touch them all the time, because they're new.
3. Not so much while showering, but while towelling off, yes.
They will be sensitive for a week or so. Just be sure you get them done by a reputable person, and follow all the cleaning instructions they give you.

I didn't have the temptation to play with them, I don't think they felt heavy either. No need to be careful showering as long as you don't get them caught on say a wash cloth or something.
