battery could be dead or the starter might have blown or out of gas or the fuel filter might be full take it to a mechanic to get it fixed

You need to determine if it is an in-gas tank fuel pump. If so, turn the key on and listen for a hum coming out of the fuel tank. If you do not hear this, odds are good your fuel pump has gone out. If you are getting fuel and the starter is turning over and the car is still not starting, your next possible option is your timing belt or chain. Hope you friend has good luck finding out what is wrong.

Without giving it to much thought, If you gave it a shot of starting fluif and it did not snort that indicates fuel but no spark!!! I have spent a lot of time trying all avenues and most often it is the DISTRIBUTOR MODULE.. Not to expensine $15 +or~. Try it.. Usually if you turn the key on and off you will get spark each time you do that. If you do not get spark while cranking that's it..

Sounds like the ignition system for sure. Check to see if any of the plugs are fouled or have oil on them, then move to your coil and if that doesn't help it may very well be your timing and/or distributor.

I'm guessing it's cranking but not turning over. Watch your spelling by the way.
I take it the car has gas. It could be the fuel pump. Let's see what you friend finds out. Good luck.

loosen the bolts on the distributer and pull the dist. out. check the gear on the bottom of it if it's stripped then replace the dist.
