Most legit businesses pay by check. A few mom and pop small businesses still pay with cash. But there are certain underground economies which exist to place illegal immigrants and others who can't show a paper trail for a normal income. These jobs tend to pay much less or be illegal in many instances so be wary.

We get paid every two weeks. Direct deposit is an option if you belong to the credit union. I don't know anyone who still gets paid in cash.

I don't know anyone who gets paid in cash. My employer pays weekly (and weakly) but with checks. It's a crapshoot whether they bounce or not, but we get 'em.

some still get paid weekly. i think some that work through temp agencies get paid weekly.

most places pay every other week now days i believe. some give checks others do the bank thing
