i ask because since i was a kid i could stand the most frezzing weather. and currently its is 12F here nj and i just went out side with my t-shirt and shorts to get my dog. and while i was out side i felt that the current weather wasn't even cold, AND then i just stood outside for almost 20 minutes. I think i could last in negative degrees -F. with just my tee and shorts. and do any other people feel low teens in F. doesn;t feel cold. or am just a FREAK. :P.

also i rarely get sick.
i think its because i grew in my country near the montians in ecuador when some days weather would be nice then other days frezzing cold. so when i came here i think it was amlost like almost summer here when it was winter.

also i love frezzing showers. because while i was kid i lived with 4brothers and 4 sisters..so i was always the last to take a shower. and then during the winter it was the worst because they had not left me any hot water. so it was either not take a shower, and be dirty or be brave and take a shower in the frezzzing cold. i remember taking like over 20of those showers during the winter. and u would think the shower would frezze u, but it feels more life buring fire the more u stay in freeze shower. i would equate it like being stuck under the artic ocean for 15mins. so i think the might also be the reason i don't fear the cold weather. just give more info about me and the cold weather.

I was gonna say "crazy," but if you can stand that temperature maybe you have extra thick skin or something. I know people who are cold when I'm not, but I couldn't stand out in freezing weather with no coat on, that's for sure.
Be happy that you're unique in that way.

I have no idea why it occurs but I'm like you too. Well, perhaps a little less extreme. I probably would not be comfortable for twenty minutes at 12°F but 10 minutes is fine.
Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid) is one thing that can cause it but I don't have that.
