Age is not as important as stage of life. If a 5 year old went out with a 10 year old that would be gross right? Well if a 10 year old goes out with a 15 year old, same thing. But if a 30 year old goes out with a 35 year old, its not abig deal. You need to look at what stage the boy is in, if its the same as you (like you're both in high school and less than two years apart - a freshman should not be with a senior) then go for it, but if he is almost a man and you're still in the early teens or something like that, then you should let it go till both of you are older or find someone closer in age.

My boyfriend just turned 31, and I am 22. We have been together for about a year and a half. He is wonderful. I don't think age matters as long as both of you are happy.
I won't lie...people stare and give dirty looks sometimes or make nasty remarks. The truth is they don't have to live my life, I do.
Same goes for you. Do what makes you happy.
Don't miss out on what could be the person of your dreams because of age.

Some say 'age is just a number' others think it's significant because of life experiences, interests, maturity level and so forth.
You have to go where your heart takes you. If your feelings are mutual and age is not an issue for either of you then go for it. If not, pursue other avenues of amore !

i was 17 when i liked my cousin's BESTEST friend. he was 24 (and my next-door nieghbor) age didn't matter to either of us, but it mattered to my cousin. we ended up sneaking around for a couple of months, but then the guy seemed totally distant and started ignoring me. I know that every situation is different and it could be that he was just stupid, but age complicates things that shouldn't be complicated... so... age that is closer is always better

Providing that you are the age of consent and this older man isnt married I dont see anything wrong . Follow your heart and everything else will fall into place.

Some people are very mature for their age, while others seem immature for their age. Real connection isn't about age. It's about truly understanding each other.

i married an older man. you may feel like he is the world & look up to him, but you will come to find you wont have much in common....if you do, then he is way immature....
My advice, stick to your own age, like range from 1-4 years.
More than that and it gets tricky
