First I would make a fine say around $50,000 per worker that was employed by any business and then take the business license if I had to come back and do it again, I would place a chip in every illegal caught in the country so that once deported should you attempt to re-enter the country you would then be placed in custody and sent to prison for 5 years the first time 10 years the second time and then life, I would not allow social service benefits for non citizens except in a case of life and death, I would impose a large tax or fee on any money sent out of the United States, I would fine landlords 1,000 dollars for every person in a dwelling that was proven to be illegal and the second time I would deal with them the same way the DEA deals with drug dealers and confiscate their property, I would stop the anchor babies by making a law that says if the parents are illegals then the baby will also be illegal since they have to remain with the parents, i would come out with a new way to show proof of citizenship that was tamper proof and not easily faked such as passports for all legals and then I would make English the only language stop all the press 2 options and would not give driver's licenses as easily as done now. Those are but a few there are many other good ones out there. Also prosecute all law enforcement officers that turn their heads to illegals and do not do as the law says when they find out the person stopped ect is illegal.

I hate to be the voice of dissent here but immigration is allowed by the government and as long as people come in, they have opportunity to blend in and stay.

I know you refer to illegal immigration, but there already are serious penalties in force to combat this problem yet it continues.

It seems an impossible task since they cross the borders at great risk hoping for a better chance at life, knowing they may not make it. You see, they will keep trying one thing or another and some will get through.

I'm sorry, but it's happening everywhere and desperate people will do desperate things.

Look, to solve the problem lies mainly in Mexican government hands. It is very convenient to Mexico to use the USA as escape valve to solve their ineptitude to create jobs and to keep their own people in the country. Mexico needs to confront the problem and attack corruption of that archaic system that they have. United States is not obligated to accept every illegal that crosses the border, that's why we have laws. If you watch the news, Mexico deports all the Centroamericans illegal immigrants, without asking a single question. When United States do the same thing, the Mexican government start raising their voice against this practice. Mexico needs to create jobs, to treat better their citizens, to stop the corruption and to care more about the poverty. The solution is not to let in all those illegals, the solution lies in the Mexican government hands and start WORKING TOGETHER AND TO PUT AND END TO CORRUPTION.
