i think arranged marriages last longer, but for a happy life it is definately love. all the emotions and feelings make it all the more pleasing to the senses.

Arranged marriages last longer and some would say they are happier given the fact there is not a lot of emotions attached.

To each his own, however; I wouldn't want to be surprised with who I was going to marry, and unless we had physical and mental attraction then there wouldn't be a point where I could come to love him. Most people have to have sparks to last a life time together.
