It all depends which country you are in? If you are in the UK you can go to virgin.co.uk, they do have a pay as you go which is very cheap after 6pm.

Yes, I have Pay As You Go broadband at the moment. The company I use is called Metronet (thankfully not related to the ridiculous London Underground maintenance company! LOL). Try their website on http://www.metronet.co.uk/index.html
You have 3 plans to choose from depending on how much you use it. The only setbacks are you'll have to pay a one-off start up fee of £47, and you have to buy your own modem, cables etc. But if you feel you can handle it and you don't use broadband for heavy-duty downloading, gaming etc, then its a good option because you get connected within a week of paying the fee. There are others if you type pay as you go broadband or payg broadband in Google. Hope this helps :-)

Yes
Most internet companies do 'dial up' internet and some do pay and go broadband. The best thing would be to do a search eg uswitch.com? that will find the cheapest.
Also Mobile phone company T-Mobile does contract and payandgo internet from your mobile phone (it can link up with your PC too)

I've never had ANY contract for my internet service. Pretty much all of them just bill monthly. You only have contracts if you're trying to get the special, lower pricing options.

Hi...if you don't wish to end up with another 12 month contract for your internet, then possibly consider going with 'virgin.net'.
You pay monthly and you can end it anytime you want.
I do it and it costs £17.99 a month for 'broadband'...and i will say i have never had any problems with connection, or speed etc.
Hope this helps.

I'm with an ISP called the Utility warehouse, and I get up to 8meg broadband, line rental and free calls for £19.99 a month, with no contract. Email me if you want more details.

Yes. There are a couple of companies that have prepaid internet service. You can buy the card in your local 7-11 or other local retail store and you can buy them in various denominations.

Try T-Mobile. They have a pay as you go option. I use them for my laptop. I know they have a daily card that is $10 for the day.
