Used a blue liquid dye recommended to whiten whites. Guess I used too much, now I have blue stains on my white shirts. Tried soaking in bleach several times, but won't come out. Can I get these white again?

Well, if bleach isn't working, then I think it may be hopeless as an at home project, but look in the laundry section, there may be something specific for getting dye out of clothes, if not, try a cleaners, they know lots more about that stuff than we do......OH and contact the company that made the blue stuff and tell them what happened!!! They may give you help or at least some type of reimbursement!

I have done that a million years ago and no, nothing will get it white again.I tried all the tricks according to the how to remove stains. Bleach will simply destroy your white shirt.
So my advice is: Dye the stained white shirt blue, and buy a new white shirt. This way, nothing got wasted, and you got yourself a brand new shirt.

try that new powder Oxy clean and see if that will get the dye out. Soak the shirt in the oxy clean. They sell it at the family dollar store, or home depot or menards.
