I think some people don't want to face the truth, while some may just be ignorant. However, I do know that some people come to this board when they are in a certain situation and they're looking to see if other people have had any of their experiences, so they can find someone to relate to, or they could have something brought to their attention that they didn't think about before.

If questions like that annoy you.....just don't read them and respond.....this is America and people can ask questions even though they may seem meaningless to some. Actually the reason for this forum (Yahoo Answers) is for people to voice their opinions.
Don't assume that just because you think some people's questions are stupid that they are......that is only your opinion.

Sorry, they're here just seeking my great fortune telling skillz. Because I have unbelieeeeeeeevable yahooyin powers. Although sometimes when I try to predict their predicaments its usually just gas. And I end up embarrassing myself in the middle of the office. Its horrible I wish they'd just take responsibility and go by a test.

I've completely stopped answering most questions like that. I swear that people that have to ask those basic things are either kids or are ignorant enough that they shouldn't be engaging in intercourse to begin with.
I mean, if there are extenuating circumstances surrounding the question, fine...but the questions like, "I had my period on this day and had sex on this day..what do you think?" are COMPLETELY ignoramus.
I used to answer: If you have sex AT ALL, you can pregnant.
DUH. HELLO. Here's a clue.

I just don't answer those questions anymore.
Look up YOUR own question. Do you have any idea how many questions exactly like this are asked everyday? Probably about ten! It's equally annoying.
Don't like the question? Skip it. Don't answer it. Report it. Done.

because often pregnancy symptoms can vary from person to person, and often people want to share their news with people they dont know - and others are anxious about taking the tests as it might give them the result they dont want to hear.
just dont answer the questions if you find them annoying.
(What annoys me is repeated postings about the same thing!!!!!)
