"None of the above" - not sure any decent names have come up, I think Leiberman is better than any democrat I've seen so far, we need someone whose main quality is not minority status, but their ABILITY, or at least their choices of who to bring with them to the White House. In most cases the party decides this, at least at first.

I wish Colin Powell had run for president. He is an upstanding man that seems to be a clear thinker. He is fair and balanced and doesn't get pushed around easily. I think he would have made a great president.

Anyone that is not a Republican. Bush and company has been a disaster of epic proportions. Over 3000 American dead in Iraq and Afghanistan. Countless thousands of Iraq and Afghan civilians dead. When are Americans going to wake up and vote these criminals out of office?

Someone who can speak english, express his/her mind eloquently and in whom I see a strong determination to guide the country in the right direction.
Why ? Because non-english-speaking Prez brings misery for the country, and brings in despair, shame to the nation.

If John McCain and/or Rudy Giuliani were candidates, I'd give them serious consideration. They are both strong leaders.

Barack Obama. He is very good environmentally, he is liberal, and he seems like he is a peacemaker. Hillary doesn't seem liberal enough. She seems to be trying to act like a centrist to appeal to both parties.

I really don't know. Many names have been mentioned as possible candidates (from both parties) and I'm not a big fan of any of them.

Hillary, because of her hard work, experience and superior intelligence. Obama, because of his inexperience, idealism and fresh blood. A combination of both would be the ideal because they'd have fresh ideas & will be the first american team representing the minorities.
