my female guppy had 12 babies. they are all in a floating hatchery in the tak. she had them about four days ago. they all look the same and i cant identify whether they are male or female. email me if you have an answer. thanks.

It takes around a month but some are early bloomers and some can be late bloomers. Usually you can tell the females first by seeing their gravid spot before the color even starts to develop.

It takes about a month for you to be really able to tell.
And it also depends on how they are fead and how there tank is.
The males will get longer tails with more color and the females the oppsite.

It's not their tails that show their gender. If you look at the fin on the bottom of their body, the male's fin will go straight back, (like a needle) and the female's fin will drop down (like a fan).
At first they all look like females. It could take a couple months for the males to look like adult males.

for now you really cant tell but as they get a little bit bigger and there tails start to grow and get color you can tell females dont geta long tail with beautiful color like the males have fun
