For one thing,they don't have any respect for their body. They apparently don't realize that there are ways to get rid of blemishes. And the reason is because God made us that way so it comes naturally. They need to chill out and understand that. Besides,it's human nature and it's not near as bad as when they peirce and tatoo themselves-which makes them look worse. Hope I could help.

well depends on what piercings you are talking about. i have a tongue ring and a belly button ring. obviously neither scar is visible once i remove them. so no i don't care for gettin pimples. or scars. i didn't get the piercings for attention. i got my tongue done just because i wanted it done i didn't really get it for a specific reason i've had it for about 3 years now and now if i take it out it feels weird with out it. my belly button ring i had taken out while i was pregnant but apparently i waited too long to take it out because after the baby my belly button looked a little funny, (all though i'm not sure if it was because of the ring or just my stomach stretching out and going back down) so i re pierced it so i could hide the funny looking part of my belly button. it's no different than people piercing their ears. it's jewelry. the one in my tongue has a blue stone it's not just a plain bar bell and the one in my belly button is a stone filled butterfly. so it's no different than wearin a pair of earrings. all of the piercings can leave scars including ear piercings.

because a piercing is something that is accepted by many of their peers, and can be cool looking. Scars, too, can be neatlooking, if it comes from something cool, such as a fight or a woodchopping incident. Acne, however, is a blemish that is often filled with pus and is horrible to look at, no matter who you are. It also, regardless if true or not, makes people think that you are dirty.

lolz i guess its cause pimples are more natural and they just happen...whereas piercing and all that stuff we do to oureselves so we're almost mentally prepared for them you know...so even if they look really ugly our bodies and minds have already accepted them and then they start to appear kinda cool to us...where as pimples just dont have the same effect!! =0)

Its a control issue,they make the choice to peirce themselves but may not have chosen to get a pimple it makes them vulnerable and they feel like they must take control once again by ridding the problem.

coudn't tell you! I'm pierced and inked and never got one. It could be because everyone gets a pimple or two and how many people like having them? Never knew anyone who didn't complain about having one

Spots are not nice and people get bullied for having them! Piercings/tattoos you choose yourself and decide you want it. Some people think they look nice and like having them so that's their choice, no one would want a spot!

their piercings and tatoos are not considered blemishes to them as pimples that they have no control over.
