Yes. I had a friend with a severe alcohol problem. He shared a house with his younger brother.
One night he came home wasted, and angry. He ended up putting his hand through a pane of glass. His brother called me and I told him to call 911. When I arrived the ambulance was already there and they were treating his hand / arm. There was a fairly large puddle of blood underneath where his arm was placed. Some glass was still in the wound. They had to carry him into the ambulance because he was too drunk and unresponsive. They transported him to the ER for treatment.
I went with his brother (who was shaken by the incident) and hung out with him and made a trip to get something to eat. By the time we returned to the house my friend was already there and resumed drinking. When we approached the front door it was flung open and he started screaming. He threw a full beer can in our direction and continued yelling about how much money the ambulance and ER visit was going to cost.
When we were coming into the doorway he tried to get physical with his brother. At that point I intervened and smacked him in the face pretty hard. He fell backwards. I went off on him and told him he had no one to blame but himself.
Unfortunately, the incident never really phased him and he continued to drink himself into stupors. I eventually had to cut ties with him because his drinking got so out of hand.

Heck yah dude. I had to smack my bf cuz she kept on doing wierd stuff such as telling of my teacher, and she wouldnt stop. But were still friends, best friends. She knows why I did that.

Oh yes. Friend in the early 70s had a bad trip. Had to slap her and put her in the shower. My night was shot! The slap was the best part!

Girlie and me were at this guy's house and he was like just sitting on the couch and he was hot and we were both into him but this chick was having impure thoughts but she has a man and she's not usually like that so I had to, she would have totally not forgiven herself.
She is just so sweet.

yes... a lot of times, because they were freaking out... or just pissed me off... I smacked my buddy the other day, just he made me mad and deserved all the punching i gave him... :))) that felt good, but I bruised my leg real bad while we were fighting...
