Usually I clean it right before I take a trip somewhere - which isn't often - every few months at the most. I find lots of slips of paper where I've written myself notes. Oodles of receipts. Pens. Old mints. Sometimes a spoon or a even a pair of sox. When my kid was little I'd find barbie clothes and little cars and such. My purse is a very scary place!!!

Not often. 2 or 3 times a year. I find money, receipts, and all sorts of different things. Sometimes I find things that I thought were lost.

Not often enough...I am always surprised by what I find in my bag.
I've heard that you need to wash the bottom of your bag daily with a disinfectant soap/cleaner. The way we sit our bags around on counters, floors, tables...they get loaded with germs.

maybe once a month, it never really gets that bad.
