90% of the world uses a PC, you'll find the most software selection period. MAC can go ahead and make stupid commercials but they are way over priced and do exactly what a PC does. They only reason you see MAC on MTV all the time is the company is struggling to stay in business so they always give their systems away, or the shows make it seem like EVERYONE is using a MAC which is a bunch a crap. More than 100 people I know only about 1 or 2 use them! If you go to any professional business, you will see they are all running PC/Windows. MAC is only good for one thing, making movies, if your a film maker then MAC would be best for you, everday use, homework, etc. Go with PC. I use both, therefore I know what I am talking about.

MACs are better for professional use and PCs are more for leisure.
The computer system in our University is MAC and we students cannot copy the files to put them in our computer because we all have PCs! But yes, I will agree with the people saying that MAC are a bit outdated!

I use a pc. The real question is not what to use, but what do you want to use if for. For music and art, I'd go with a Mac, for just about everything else, I'd go with a pc. Most of the massive multiplayer games are available 1st on the pc. Most companies use PC's. Most available software is available 1st on PC's, unless they are real good art or music programs. Personally, I love my PC. Although I hear PC programs run on a Mac, I'd watch for the hardware requirements of what it is I really want to do with my computer.

PC, the only reason that Macs don't crash is because there is zero software for them. Give the PC a break, for something thats supposed to support over 500,000 programs crashing is normal. oh, when was the last time that you saw a fast mac thats under $1000?

PC and Mac. Like the PC better. Macs are too "neat". No fun. And they do break. When they do...$$$.
PCs are easier to work on. Cheaper. More programs available.

It all depends on what activity you do.
If graphics related MAC of course.
If normal gaming, surfing and office work, PC will be a better choice.
But take note that millions of virus, spy-wares, malwares out there.
These jerks and fools like to aim PCs or rather Microsoft.
Maybe consider using Linux if you chose PC.
If you need more advice email me.

MAC users are mostly for designers, otherwise, stick with PC.
