I am almost tempted to just make him a huge basket with all the food he loves and that he can actually make himself since i do know he loves to eat. but i would love to get him something other than that since ive done that one before so im open to suggestions. That sounds exactly like my father. I usually get him something practical like a dvd's or clothes. But this year I decided to go sentimental, it's a shadowbox from the store Things Remembered, and it has words like "inspiration", "strength", and "courage" inside, a place for a picture of two of us, and an engravable plate. I think it's hard for dads like ours to show their affection and I think that this would be something to strengthen that bond.

A framed photo of the two of you! A coupon book made by you, for little chores that will help him and your family out (include the ones you dont like doing....takes a little effort..but goes a long way)

U should buy him something to relax him from all the stress at work. Like send him to a spa or a massage place.
