Tennessee is very nice - at least the places I've visited. Chattanooga is a really cool place, as are Memphis and Nashville. Knoxville is okay, too. The people in Tennessee are very nice for the most part, true representatives of Southern hospitality. The only exception to that is on Saturdays in the fall when most of them exhibit a bit of rabid fanaticism for the University of Tennessee football team! But if their team wins, they are generally in a really good mood!

My sister and her family live in Tennessee, but I don't know anyone else from there. So if she is any indication, I think the place and people are cool.

I'm not sure what you mean by that question. I love Tennesee and I know a lot of people that live there.
