The first blank is -cell wall- it is a rigid outer covering on all cells in a plant. Animals don't have this, they have cell membranes. The second blank is -chlorophyll-, it is essential to the process of photosynthesis and animals' cells don't have that either.

Nckobra40 was too fast! He's right, though. Animal cells have cell a membrane but not a CELL WALL. And since we don't produce our food through the process of photosynthesis, we don't need the organelles called CHLOROPLASTs. Darn it all! If only I could type faster.
