That's because they offer the most widths and variation of any manufacturer. If you don't know your shoe size and width, go to a shoe store (at the end of the day, since your foot will be as big as it will ever be at that time) and use the metal plate in the shoe dept.
If you go to a Newbalance store, you'll see what I'm talking about. Their people will get a pair of shoes that fits for YOU not 80% of the folks out there. They are not selling the volume that Adidas and Nike are, so they can afford to customize their shoes to the individual.

Sneaker brands like Newbalenace are taken into the lab and they test many thing, fabrics, colors and widths. When they are done they are newly designed and so comfertable.
