When you have a plate of curry - do you mix it all up, or keep the moat around the castle?

Say you have a plate of food - peas, potatoes and salmon. Do you eat all the salmon, then the peas, then the potatoes - BUT NEVER MIXED UP?

I'm not big on the mixing, even though it 's all going to the same place. Usually i pick at each group, but always leave the majority of my favorite on the plate for last. Which in retrospect is a dumb idea, cause by the time i get to it i'm nearly full, but damn, i'm determined i'll eat it cause it's the best part of the meal. Interesting question.

I am a mixer to but I have a mate who does one at a time first the fish then chips etc but where one type of food has come into contact with another he leaves that so if he has four items of food on his plate at the end there is a cross of food left. Weird man.

Eventualy it all mixes. However, I like them one at a time. Unless its something that would inhance the flavor, like biscuit and gravey.

If you just cram it all in at one time then you really can't enjoy the complex flavors of each food. Some foods over power others and some are just so perfect that adding to them would ruin the dish.

NO MIXING!!!! Dragon doesn't even like the individual foods on her plate to touch. Berry bad.

I don't mix it up at all. I like the presentation just as much as the flavor of the food.

I had to think about that for a sec, lol. Most of the time I eat each thing individually, then move on to the next.

When I eat, I don't like any of my food to touch each other...I eat a little of one thing....then a little of something else, but never several things at once....I'm just a little O.C.
