oh ya! you have come to the right place.

Off season should be a lot of lifting and a lot of sprint work to get your pole speed down the runway

secondly don't ever take for granted you Bar work....since you vault i assume you know what i mean

pull overs
muscle up
kips
you know....the basics

this may sound weired but try looking into a local gymnastics place and focus on the high bar this should give you alot more strength during the row and top of your vault

but for the time being......keep lifting and try to find you self a good sprint coach

sprints, weights, flexibility, maybe go to open gyms at gymnastic places and work on high bar... kips, giants, pullovers, handstands, pullups/chinups... climb ropes.. all different ways... stub drills, if you have access to a pole.. plant drills with a slide box are great!!! also check out vaultworld.com, polevaultpit.com they are great and up to date with work outs and tips from some awesome vaulters... also check out local colleges... a lot of times they have clinics during off season

make sure your speed, weight, and pole size do not cancle each other out id say speed is most important but iv never tried it much. i used bamboo pole once and jumped a hay stack :P
