low crime rate..nice atmosphere...inexpensive...

I live in western Virginia in the mountains. Kinda muggy in the summer but I would'nt want to be anywhere else.

I would say the city that I live in central Alabama we still don't have to lock our doors when we are at home or not we and our neighbors look out for each other. No I will not tell the exact location as then the crime rate may rise. There hasn't been a burglary here that I have heard of since I was 8 years old and I am 51 now.

by crime rate it would have to be canada but all together in order from best norway iceland canada etc.

united states comes at about 58 best place to live

check the brady bill website and the state which has the lowest score also has the lowest violent crime rate.
Erego, Texas, Montana, etc would be safe states to live.

Having my Mom move there, and being there plenty of times, I really do feel that Canada might be the answer to that question.

canada - low crime rate and public healthcare (awesome) ... BC is really pretty put ontario's got it going on lol
