Right at the southern edge of Williamson county ... the southern side of the city limit hugs the Travis County / Williamson County line in most places.
It's along I-35, slightly north of Austin.

Geography
Round Rock is located at 30°30′54″N, 97°40′21″W (30.514865, -97.672561)GR1, 17 miles (27 km) north of Austin, and 10 miles (16 km) south of Georgetown.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 68.0 km² (26.3 mi²). 67.7 km² (26.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it (0.50%) is water.
