for some reason shows on my computer that i haven't CD-r.
i want to put a new programe in and i can't because i don't have the software. what should i do?

Ok, click on Start, then Right click on My Computer, from the side menu pick the last item called Properties. A block called System Properties will appear, click on the Hardware Tab. Under that tab choose Device Manager. It will show you a list of all your hardware, hard drives, etc, and your CDR drive. If your CDR drive has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it, Right click on it and choose Update Drivers from the menu. If this doesn't work it could be you have a faulty CDR drive. Two options, buy an internal CDR drive, cheaper, but you got to install it. Or an external CDR drive that simply plugs into your computer, but cost more. Best of luck.

uninstall it and run add new hardware wizard.
